First-Step Mediation Inc.

First-Step Mediation acknowledges that we reside, work, and live on the traditional land of many nations, including the Mississauga's of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

We are grateful to have the privilege to reside, work, and live on this land, and we recognize the ongoing presence and contributions of Indigenous people from across Turtle Island.

We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississauga's of the Credit and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississauga's and Chippewa bands.

As people, who call this land our home, we are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. We strive to learn from and collaborate with Indigenous communities, acknowledging their historical and ongoing connections to the land.

At First-Step Mediation, we recognize the importance of reconciliation and work towards promoting understanding, respect, and equality for all. We are dedicated to creating spaces that honor the diverse cultural heritage and histories of Indigenous peoples as well as forging and maintaining respectful relationships.
